Accessibility Statement for the website www.lizetalivigno.it

APT Livigno | Azienda di Promozione e Sviluppo Turistico srl is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Italian Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004.
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.lizetalivigno.it.

APT Livigno | Azienda di Promozione e Sviluppo Turistico srl has invested resources to ensure that its website is easier to use and more accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
We believe it is a collective moral duty to allow everyone to access information, products, and services without obstacles or barriers, so that all individuals can live with dignity, equality, and independence.

APT Livigno | Azienda di Promozione e Sviluppo Turistico srl continues its efforts to identify and remove any digital accessibility barriers on its website and to constantly improve the accessibility of its digital services.
This includes the integration of the UserWay PRO accessibility widget, a tool that—thanks to Artificial Intelligence—allows users to adapt and enhance their browsing experience according to their individual needs.

The use of the widget by website users is completely free of charge and helps improve the site’s compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
UserWay PRO offers multiple features designed to enhance both the website’s accessibility and the overall user experience.

These features can be accessed through a dedicated panel, which can be opened by clicking on the widget icon or by using the keyboard shortcut CTRL + U, as listed below

  • Screen reader: reads aloud all page contents without needing to install an external reader.

  • Dictionary: allows users to look up words without leaving the website. Essential for people with cognitive disabilities, non-native English speakers, and many others.

  • Larger text: allows users to increase the text size on the screen with four different levels of enlargement, making every part of the site immediately more readable.

  • Saturation: allows you to set the intensity of a website’s colours to high, low or greyscale.

  • Contrast: inverts the colours of a website or allows switching between light and dark contrast modes.

  • Smart contrast: ensures that all site colours fully comply with ADA standards, providing greater visibility of the content.

  • Highlight links: emphasizes links, buttons, and other interactive or clickable elements with bright, high-contrast colours, making them easier to identify and improving site usability, navigation, and overall accessibility.

  • Stop animations: pauses content that moves or updates automatically, which can be a barrier to accessibility. It also stops flashing or blinking elements that may distract users or trigger seizures in people at risk.

  • Text spacing: adjusts letter and line spacing to improve readability for users with dyslexia or visual impairments, offering three levels of adjustment for a more personalized and accessible reading experience.

  • Line height: increases the spacing between lines to ensure more comfortable readability for all on-site text.

  • Text alignment: aligns website text to the left, right, or center to provide a more personalized and accessible reading experience.

  • Dyslexia-friendly font: the “UserWay Dyslexia Friendly” typeface enhances readability and provides an easier, smoother reading experience for visitors with dyslexia.

  • Large cursor: enlarges the standard cursor size by 400%, keeping the pointer always visible. It allows for faster and more accessible navigation through hyperlinks, tabs, and form elements.

  • Tooltips: display alternative text and ARIA labels for on-screen elements with a simple mouse hover. The tooltips are highly visible, high-contrast, and easy to read for visually impaired users with accessibility needs.

  • Page structure: quickly reveals page headings, landmarks, and links in a clear, structured, and easily navigable way. It helps both disabled and non-disabled users find the desired content more quickly.

In addition to the features users can activate from the accessibility menu, the UserWay PRO widget is capable of detecting numerous site non-compliances and performing real-time corrections — without modifying the source code, but only what the browser displays on screen. This allows the website to be more accessible and usable for all end users, including those who rely on assistive technologies.

This accessibility statement considers the non-compliances corrected by the UserWay PRO widget as resolved, since the adjustments it performs meet the success criteria required by current regulations. In this way, the website ensures that its information is accessible to people with disabilities as well.
